Each story is a first-hand Q&A: how the person got into the job, what a typical day looks like, the best and hardest parts, the ways in (degree, apprenticeship or otherwise), what you can realistically earn, and their advice. Written for high school students, uni students and career changers.

Stories are submitted by the people who do the work and reviewed by hand before publishing. Answers are the contributor's own words, lightly edited for typos only. Pay figures and opinions are personal experience, not official data.
